 At home and the boys' school, we grow many lettuce varieties, but I find that Romaine is one of my tried and true - durable delicious favorites.

 Right now in SoCal is a great time to get some Romaine lettuce seeds or pick up some seedlings and get them into the ground or a pot (it doesn't need to be a big pot).
