Taking selfies with my plants, again.

"There she is again. Taking selfies with her plants."Β πŸ˜‘ This is what I imagine my neighbours are thinking or saying.

They probably don't (do you?πŸ˜‰), but I must admit that I get a little self-conscious. πŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ We do not live out in the country, but rather 20 minutes from downtown and are surrounded by wonderful neighbors. We're blessed to have a yard that I share with my husband, two growing boys, a dog, and two guinea pigs. In the corner (though the garden seems to have recently taken over more space 😏), I've carved out where we can grow food to eat and share.

πŸ’š Some people think you need a big garden set up to grow food, and it's not true. We started in our condo with ceramic pots on our small, mostly sunless deck. When we moved into our current home, we sowed seeds into mounds of dirt. Had we not started somewhere, though, the learning wouldn't have even begun.

πŸ’‘Β β€¨I've said it before, and I'll say it again. It could be in a pot, or the ground, or a shoe (I've actually seen that), plant a seed and see what grows!

🌱 Lastly - if people are watching (like your neighbours or your little ones) - celebrate that! Just think what you might be inspiring! ✨
