Did my 9 and 11-year-old boys want to drive 45 minutes, on their 2nd day of Spring Break, to pick strawberries with me? Not really. (Their body language in the first pic says it all.) 😐

I have to say, though, they were good sports, AND this little adventure turned out to be super fun.🙌

First of all, the sunflower maze (which we didn't even know existed) was gorgeous, and the boys wanted to do it twice. As for strawberry picking, it was better than I had hoped. (Getting competitive with one another also ensured buckets of big, beautiful, and delicious berries.) In the end, I also splurged to let them jump in the inflatable zone.👍👍👍

I appreciate days like this where we don't have to be on a schedule, and they trust that I've got something special planned.✨
