Go To Post     For years I lived a block from this farmers market (mostly pre hubs and kids) and coming here every Saturday was a non-negotiable. I love my family, but my goodness we spend a LOT of time together. Spending my morning here, by myself, surrounded by the most BEAUTIFUL produce and delicious coffee and food, reminds me that I am my own identity separate from my children and husband, while at the same time they are central to my core. So - any who - I hope that you find yourself this weekend doing things that YOU love, while...

Go To Post     In case we haven’t met... Hi, I'm Kaitlin! 👋 I share what I've learned about growing fruits and vegetables with kids and my own family.👩‍🌾 My knowledge is based on personal experience and research.🧐 I write books that are filled with easy to teach and engaging lessons to encourage more kids and families to get outdoors and grow.🌿 I do this because I believe that if you have some knowledge or a gift that can do some good, you should share it.🤷🏼‍♀️ Happy Friday, Everyone! Enjoy your weekend!💚 Photo by @sibila.thisisme #growwhatyoulove #sharewhatyoulove #familygardening #gardeningwithkids #gardenlessons #organicgarden #gardenteacher...

Go To Post     For my coffee drinking friends...☕️ Save those used coffee grounds for your garden!🌿 I’ll give you four good reasons to sprinkle them in your soil or use them to side-dress your plants.🌱 1. Earthworms love them. That’s reason enough!💚 2. Many garden pests are not as keen. Some don’t like the odor, and the coarse texture deters others (think slugs).👎 3. The grounds help with soil texture and aeration, and also allows the soil to retain moisture.💦 4. Keeps it out of landfills and puts it to good use!👍 #gardeninghacks #organicgardening #urbangardening #gardeningtips #organicgardener #gardeningfamily

Day 1: Spray (pretty aggressively) the affected areas with a hose. I literally rinse the aphids off the plant.💦 Day 2: Assess areas to see if and how many have returned. Trim...
